Gathering Storm Clouds

I awoke in the middle of the night to a steady rain coming down.  God started to speak of the gathering storm clouds that were coming on the land.  They were a warning of troubles coming.  Our preparation now, to ride out the storm, was to know, read, and communicate the word of God.  There is life in the word.  Jesus said, “It is the Spirit that makes alive, the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).  As I read a passage of the bible, it opens my spirit and gives me more revelation and access to the whole word.  The word connects to itself and reveals itself.  As the Holy Spirit wrote the word through men that He inspired, so the Holy Spirit makes the word alive and understandable.  God speaks through His word and in…Him we live and move, and have out being…(Act 17:28).  Jesus is …the Word …made flesh…(John 1:14).

Storm clouds are coming.  You can try to hoard food and provisions but that is a very temporal fix.  Invest in the Word; it is eternal.  It will guide you and aid you in the dark days when all other lights have gone out.  A wise man invests; a foolish man gambles.  You can gamble that things won’t get so bad that you will need the Word, or you can invest your time and hope in the Word.  It will pay you dividends no matter what.

Christians in the USA are in for a rude awakening. While American Christians are busy naming and claiming all of God’s blessings to enrich their own lives, Christians across the globe are being persecuted, imprisoned, separated from their families, tortured and killed for their faith. Do you honestly think the Church in America is exempt from these things? If so, you have fallen asleep and desperately need to be awakened! It is time to put down selfish desires and pick up our crosses.

Yes, and ALL who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

–2 Timothy 3:12

Are you ready to be despised and rejected of men just like our Savior?

All throughout history, true followers of Christ have been persecuted for their faith. Today in countries like ChinaIndonesia, and North Korea it is hazardous to be a Christian unless you are willing to compromise and renounce your faith. Christians are under intense discrimination, stripped of their rights, imprisoned, and yes murdered just for holding onto the name of Jesus Christ.

We cannot stop God’s purposes. Your protests, petitions and militias will not stop what is coming to this country and the church in America.

The nation has been hijacked by corrupted politicians, greedy businessmen, deceived church leaders and wolves in sheep’s clothing and those who work in secret to control the masses.

God is going to test our faith. He will find out if our praise and worship of Him is in vain (Isaiah 29:13). He will discover if you really believe that He will supply your needs. He will reveal if you will not deny Him before men. He will uncover what is in the deep recesses of your heart.

God is going to reveal the wise and the foolish. It is late in the hour and judgment is coming first to those who claim they believe. America is about to find out if it is really the Christian nation it thinks it is.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

–1 Peter 4:17

It is time to wake up and stop all the visions of grandeur that today’s church leaders have been selling. God is not in the business of making you rich, comfortable and spoiled. Jesus did not die for you so that you could become a millionaire and live the good life. You have been fed a false gospel if you believe that God wants you financially prosperous at all times. The only prosperity we are to maintain at all times is that of our spiritual condition.

The world is being divided and the battle lines are being drawn. There is a murderous, hateful spirit being promoted across the globe that directs its vitriol against those who claim to love Jesus. Your faith will be tested. It is time to thoroughly examine ourselves and see whether we are in the faith.
